AFTERMATH

Finally, the week is over, the weeks of practicing for our first dance performance for this school year has been a huge success. The crowd LOVED our finale performance, it is such an overwhelming feeling hearing their screams. Although a large percent cheered for Moi, one of the newest members who is an awesome dancer, as in, you really need to see her dance and you will just be dumbfounded.
But anyways, I felt bit bad since I think I messed up slightly with THAT dance move I was having a hard time doing, but nevertheless, my classmates and some friends said I did awesome! Oh yeah! One even was in disbelief when she saw me danced, she never knew I was that good. Aww, what a compliment...

It felt so good, to dance.. and when we did the last glance at the crowd and the music faded away, everyone just went wild and my heart was like ... soaring high. It is such an unforgettable evening and the friendships I have made along the way.

Sad though, I will be practicing with them right after semestral break so that will be one or two months from now. I hope I would not gain much weight since I think I lost a bit.. yeah, just a bit with all the sweat I have perspired from all the practice. Hoho.

Before I forgot, the day after the awesome evening of our performance, we had basketball game. We were only five, yes, so that means, I played from first to the last quarter. I almost died out of exhaustion, they were bit concerned if I can still make it through. And despite all that, I managed to get a lay up point, oh yea. I suddenly remembered my time back in college, how nostalgic.

And the funny thing is, we even lost a player since she fouled out so the game ended with four of us playing and winning, yeah yeah! So much fun and exhausting all at the same time, but I am just happy we did it. Abi, the main player is beyond amazing...

Right now, my body is still kind of aching at some areas and I should be really studying. So, good night.

Finally, I am an official graduate of UPLB Class of Batch 2010.
I am so happy.
I am so blessed.
And right now, I'm off to just relax for a while before I embark on another phase of my life --studying in medschool.
Good luck to me and to my fellow graduates.

Strong earthquake hits near Philippines

WASHINGTON – A strong earthquake struck south of the Philippines on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 6.7 and was located in the Celebes Sea, 175 miles southeast of Jolo, Sulu Archipelago, and 730 miles south of Manila. The quake hit at 5:41 p.m. EDT, or 5:41 a.m. Thursday local time.

USGS did not report any damages or injuries.(link)

I don't know with this one, but I hope authorities are getting prepared for whatever might happen next. The country cannot afford another calamity that will add up to the damage already there from the past events (Ondoy and Pepeng).

two nights before year 2oo8

well, it is getting near to year 2oo8..
so many things await us in the next year to come..
would it be like the past years?
or something new will come into our lives?
we'll never know!

as for me, i will always do my best, not that i have a resolution list in my head!
hahaha.

a new shopping experience

it was my very first time to go shopping in divisoria.we decided to check out 168 (building which houses many stores inside), since we have heard of many things about the place.many say that there are beautiful wardrobe apparel to see in affordable prices.so we went there.

at first, i didn't expect that 168 would be like that.we went in and many mini-stores came into view, selling different items, from clothes to shoes, jewelries to bags, and a lot more.i had a list in mind of stuff that i would be glad to buy if i find them in 168 acceptable to my tastes. so we roamed around the place, trying out some clothes, slipping into different shoes and going back ang forth, picking what has a reasonable price and fits us the most.

when we were hungry, we chose to stop to eat lunch, which was already passed twelve and went for a tour around the shops a little more.finally, we decided to leave the place. i had bought a short, leggings, two tops, a pair of doll shoes and an overall top. i am contented.

but then again, it's not yet time to go home.when we went out, it was drizzling and my mother had to buy something yet.so we walked on the muddy street crowded with a lot of people, finding that shop selling baby stuff. and at last, after hoursd of shopping, we let our weary bodies, especially feet came to rest, as we rode on a jeepney taking us to our next destination, nearer home. i was sleepy all throughout the travel and my head was falling down involuntary, hitting the shoulder of the person next to me in the jeepney.so embarassing.

an hour later, we were back home.we tried out the clothes and shoes we bought and was happy for the good results of our tiring shopping experience.

hope to come back there again one day.save money first for me, since almost all my money was spent.hahaha.
